Based in Pensacola, Florida, The Global Corner provides age-appropriate activities for elementary school children to help them understand the arts, language, literature, customs, culture and food of other countries. Each school year, we focus on bringing one country to life. In 2009-2010, the focus country is Egypt. Our teachers and volunteers keep the students involved with hands-on activities that are designed not only to help them understand the world around them, but also help them learn and meet Florida's Grade Level Expectations.

Our Mission
The Global Corner is an international learning center dedicated to teaching the children of Northwest Florida about world cultures.  Using age-appropriate activities, we promote understanding and embracing of other cultures and their differences through the arts, language, geography, cultural traditions and the food of other nations. Through this, children will begin to see their place in a more peaceful, global community.  A different country is highlighted each year as we "Bring the World to Life – One Child at a Time."
